Are you tired of feeling dismissed, misunderstood or shuffled between professionals, yet still not receiving the care you truly need? You are not alone. Many people struggling with disordered eating feel frustrated, exhausted and unseen, especially when conventional treatment paths overlook the complexity of what you are really going through.
As both a dietitian and psychotherapist, I offer an integrated approach that combines nutrition, somatic therapy, psychology and body-based healing, all in one space. You do not have to split your story or your care. Here, your body and mind are supported together because that is what healing actually requires.
Eating disorders are often poorly understood, misdiagnosed or minimised in mainstream settings, leaving many without the timely and compassionate support they deserve. Whether you are in the early stages of struggling, stuck in long-term patterns or just starting to question your relationship with food and your body, your concerns are valid.
If you feel disconnected from yourself, distressed by how you look or feel, or overwhelmed by eating, restriction, control or shame, please reach out. You do not have to carry this alone. Support is available and recovery is possible.
Initial Assessment
Your healing journey begins with a comprehensive assessment where we explore the emotional, cognitive, social, nutritional, environmental and lifestyle factors influencing your relationship with food, body and self. This session is designed to give you space to be fully seen and heard without judgment or assumptions. We look beneath the surface to understand the deeper patterns and needs shaping your current experience.
From there, I create tailored recommendations that support your body, mind and energy with a flexible plan that grows with you. You will leave this first session feeling understood, validated and empowered with clarity about the path forward and the reassurance that you will be supported at every step.
Ongoing Sessions
Each follow-up session is thoughtfully adapted to meet your current needs and capacity. Whether you are navigating emotional overwhelm, body image distress, anxiety around food or deeper identity struggles, our work together will focus on education, nervous system regulation, emotional processing and reconnection to self.
Depending on what your body and system are needing, we may use a combination of:
Talk therapy to explore thoughts, beliefs and behaviour patterns
Somatic therapy to listen to the body through sensation, breath and gentle movement
Sound therapy to support emotional release and regulation
Nutrition and lifestyle support to stabilise and nourish your system from within
Some days we will talk. Other days we will allow your body to guide the session through sensation and presence. At times, sound will help move and release what words cannot. You will receive the care your unique system is asking for, gently rebuilding your capacity to feel safe, clear and at home in your body.
I had a very positive experience seeing Anca. I learnt a great deal about my body and mind through a number of methods. My gut health improved greatly, and my attitude towards eating changed. I use her relaxation methods to help me sleep and take time for me when stress starts to increase. Not a day goes by that I don't think about what Anca taught me. Her knowledge and wisdom astounds me. Thank you.

From day ONE Anca amazed me with her knowledge, passion and genuine care to help me reach my goals. This incredibly intelligent woman provides more than just a meal plan. She has provided me with education, counselling, referrals to top quality professionals, high quality supplements and products, a shoulder to cry on and the bare truth when I needed to hear it. She has shown me just how important nutrition is for every aspect of my well being and how resilient the human body can be once equipped with the right tools. If you are scrolling through reviews looking to make not only a change, but the right changes, Anca is the person you are looking for.

Anca is amazing! She has a genuine interest in what you want to achieve and has a non-judgmental approach when she works with you. She has plenty of new ideas and a fresh perspective of how to live well. She really gets you thinking to challenge your assumptions on what works for you. I'd highly recommend having a session with Anca.

I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of disordered eating patterns, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, orthorexia, emotional eating and body image distress. You do not need a formal diagnosis to seek help — if your relationship with food or your body is causing you distress, you are welcome here.
Unlike many traditional approaches that separate the physical and psychological, I work holistically by integrating nutritional therapy, somatic psychotherapy, lifestyle support and emotional processing. This whole-person method addresses the deeper root causes of disordered eating and helps you reconnect with your body, regain self-trust and move toward lasting recovery.
No referral is needed. You can book directly through the website or contact me to ask any questions. I offer both in-person eating disorder consultations in Melbourne and online sessions for clients across Australia.
Yes you can claim back on Medicare with and EDP plan or private health if covered for dietetics.
Recovery is a highly individual process. Some people begin to feel better within a few sessions, while others need longer-term support. Together, we will work at a pace that honours your nervous system and personal capacity, while building the skills and trust needed for long-term change.
